Bonnie Walker, DVM
Dr. Walker is the Medical Director of Pima North Animal Hospital. A 1985 graduate of Ohio State University's College of Veterinary Medicine, she completed an internship at Hollywood Animal Hospital, Hollywood , Fl. Dr. Bonnie is also a 24 year veteran of the U.S. Army Reserve Veterinary Corps. As a volunteer, she served on active duty for Operation Desert Shield / Storm.
Dr. Walker has special interests in surgery, laser surgery, medicine and behavior. Her experience, gentle hand in surgery and general "family " practice are always appreciated by the patients and clients at Pima North Animal Hospital.
In her spare time, Dr. Bonnie enjoys horseback riding, hiking, skiing, camping and is currently working toward earning a private pilot certificate. Dr. Bonnie also volunteers with the Flying Samaritans. (www.flyingsamaritans.com)
Sadly, Dr. Bonnie lost her best pal, Louise, pictured, but she has rescued a new friend, Carly.
Deb Scharrer, DVM
Dr. Scharrer has been with Pima North Animal Hospital since 1999. She graduated from Michigan State University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 1987 and also received a B.S. in Zoology at MSU. A Michigan native, Dr. Deb was eager to practice in the sunshine and warmth of the desert Southwest.
She has special interests in delivering compassionate care in the areas of geriatrics, dentistery, dermatology and soft tissue as well as laser surgery.
In her spare time, Dr. Deb can usually be found at the barn riding, showing, or just spoiling her horses, Dolce and Querida. Bubba, the Rottwieller and Peanut Sophia, a little Yorkie, as well as her cats Bentley and Macka, keep guard while "Mom" is away. Dr. Deb also hikes, plays tennis and is an avid reader.
David Taetle, VMD
Dr. David Taetle joined the Professional Veterinary Staff
Pima North Animal Hospital in May of 2008. He is a graduate of
the University of Pennsylvannia School of Veterinary Medicine
and holds the title of Veterinary Medical Doctor. After graduating
in 2005, Dr. Taetle moved to Arizona and began practice.
His interests include medicine, dermatology, dentistry and
surgery. He believes that Client Education is of paramount
importance in order to permit clients to make educated decisions
and provide the best care possible.
Dr. Taetle enjoys spending time with his wife and their two
young sons, and reading, movies and outdoor activities. Of course,
his home is complete with two cats, "Jewels" and "Mr. P." and
"Haille" their Papi-Poo!
